Chroma in water comes from dyes soluble in water and granules pigments insoluble in water. Plant fiber cake membrane can intercept granular pigments in water and contain them inside the fiber cake. At the same time, the rich functional groups on the surface of plant fiber can adsorb the soluble chroma in water. The chroma in the filtrate decreased obviously during the treatment process and the reclaimed water can be used for products of the same color, which greatly reduces the treatment pressure of the sewage treatment plant.
